Employee Testimonials

We believe what happens tomorrow is determined by what we do today.

Emily, Compliance Manager – Started 2017

Emily started in our shipping department and shortly after was promoted to a Quality Inspector position. Currently Emily is our Compliance Manager, making sure our product and company adhere with all the necessary codes and standards including ISO, ASME, and the like. She is also head of the Quality Department, ensuring our product is in top shape before it heads out to our customers. Before working at Alloy Emily worked in the automotive industry providing automotive parts to different companies. What Emily likes most about working at Alloy is “the opportunity to grow and develop my career starting as an assembler/inspector and moving up to where I am now,” later continuing, “the people here are great and I love the team I work with.” She enjoys spending her off time with her family and reading.

Matt, Manufacturing Supervisor – Started 2011

“Working at Alloy as the Pickle/EP Supervisor has been a rewarding experience. My typical day involves collaborating with my department team to prioritize our workload while ensuring we maintain high-quality standards. Before joining Alloy, I spent a decade in the building trades and had some manufacturing experience, which has been invaluable in my current role. What I enjoy most about working here are the people and knowing that our products support multiple industries worldwide. The company offers great perks, including a solid benefits package, group outings, and access to the Employee Credit Union. Alloy has provided me with opportunities for growth, and I appreciate the supportive environment. Outside of work, I have various hobbies that keep me busy. Overall, I would highly recommend Alloy as a great place to work.”

Alla, Design Product Engineer – Started 2013

Alla’s workday as a Design Product Engineer at APC varies greatly—from running calculations and checking 3D models and drawings to preparing designs for production. She also conducts drop tests and burst tests to ensure everything meets ASME and the highest quality requirements. She proudly states “I’m happy to assist and contribute in any area at Alloy where my skills can be of use.” Before joining APC over 11 years ago, she did similar work with diesel generator tanks and enclosures. Before that, she was part of one of the top 3D CAD development team. She enjoys working for Alloy “it’s a company with a great culture and a welcoming, supportive atmosphere.” Outside of work one of her passions is the FIRST Robotics program, where she is one of the mentors of a mechanical team and inspire young women in STEAM, encouraging them to pursue their dreams. “I’ve also been a swim mom for 20+ years and officially addicted to the scent of chlorine.” Alla also mentioned she is an avid Bucks fan.

Carson, Welder Fabricator – Started 2023

Carson works as a welder fabricator at Alloy in our 2nd plant next door. Carson doesn’t have a “typical” day at APC because he’s “always working on something different,” but he enjoys the variety as it “keeps [his] job from becoming mundane and boring.” Carson started at APC “fresh out of high school with no experience in the trades, the company has given me all the tools I needed to become a successful and skilled welder,” he says. Some of his favorite perks at APC are the credit union, the annual cost of living raises, and opportunities for overtime. In his off time Carson enjoys camping, hiking, working out and working on cars. He would “absolutely recommend alloy” to someone looking to start a career in the skilled trades field.
