Custom Stainless Steel Pressure Vessels

We believe what happens tomorrow is determined by what we do today.

At Alloy Products Corporation, we are recognized as a world leader in the field of custom and general purpose vessel fabrication. We have been in business since 1929, and our products have set new industry standards for quality. Continual investment in the latest manufacturing technologies combined with our deep industry insight allows us to develop fresh approaches and innovative strategies for pressure vessel design and fabrication.

We utilize sophisticated CAD tools to ensure our products conform to the heat transfer, agitation, and hygienic requirements of your individual application. Built to meet or exceed ASME, UN, or DOT codes, we use only premium quality materials including stainless steel, Hastelloy., Monel., and duplex steel grades. We operate two large manufacturing plants housing state-of-the-art machine tools, welding equipment, and electropolishing facilities. Various automation technologies ensure precise and repeatable production of vessels in almost any configuration from one liter to 500 gallons in size. Options are numerous and include items such as valves, closure assemblies, dip tubes, level gauges, and more. Our ISO 9001:2015 quality control system ensures that your products have been properly constructed, tested, and inspected according to the most rigorous standards.

Over the past 85+ years, we have accumulated extensive experience in fabricating pressure vessels for some of the most challenging and complex applications in many industrial markets. In addition to our custom products, we maintain a large inventory of ASME general purpose, portable, hygienic, and UN pressure vessels available for immediate shipment. More detailed information about our products and capabilities can be found in the table below. Contact us at any time for a quote.

Dimpled Heat Transfer Pressure Vessels

Adding a full dimpled stainless steel jacket and bottom head to your APC pressure vessel increases heat flow in the passages created to maximize the customized vessel’s ability to transfer heat.

Available in volumes from 7.6 to 1900 liters (2 to 500 gallons), dimpled heat transfer pressure vessels range in diameter from 9 to 36 inches. (Insulation and a stainless steel shroud, if required, add approximately 2 inches to the vessel’s diameter.)

Dimpled heat transfer pressure vessels jackets are generally made from 304 stainless. Thermolux paint and chloride-free insulation help to eliminate vessel corrosion and stress cracking. Special tank sizes, fittings, accessories and polishes are also available.

Portable Process Stainless Steel Vessels

Custom designed specifically for your process to ensure maximum cleanability, releasability and hygiene, APC pharmaceutical process stainless steel vessels have volumes ranging from 3.8 to 1900 liters (1 to 500 gallons), and outside diameters ranging from 8 to 48 inches. APC process stainless steel tanks and vessels are available with the same pressure ratings and fitting, accessory and construction material options as our portable pressure stainless steel vessels.

Specific diameters and sidewall configurations can be selected to optimize your process and minimize your costs. In addition, a full baffled jacket or a full dimpled side jacket and bottom head can be specified to maximize your vessel’s heat transfer capabilities, with optional Thermolux paint and chloride-free insulation to help reduce stress cracking and corrosion. A shroud of Type 304 or other stainless steel can be used to cover the insulation.

Portable Storage Vessels

Ranging in volume from 3.8 to 1900 liters (1 to 500 gallons), with outside diameters from 9 to 36 inches, APC portable storage stainless steel vessels are available with the same fitting, accessory and construction material options as our portable pressure stainless steel vessels.
